Big copper has presence. Set this 13 gallon mushroom top copper still in your workshop and it reads as both instrument and art piece, with a broad, domed cap over a large hand-formed pot. It's 100% copper at least 1.0 mm thick, with every welded joint sealed by lead-free tin-silver solder. Lead and brass are left out entirely.
What can you do with a 13 gallon mushroom top still?
Run larger loads of herbs and botanicals for essential oils, or distill water in volume. With federal TTB permits, you can produce whiskey, rum, vodka, brandy and moonshine. Owning the still is legal in the US, but making spirits without a permit is not. Plan your space and heat source with a pot this size in mind.
